Today, at 03:40 pm Moscow time Zhukovsky Airfield (Moscow Oblast) authorized landing to a Su-30. Thus an ultra-long-distance non-stop flight from Moscow to Chkalov Island at the Far East and back again came to an end.
Ace airman Anatoly Kvochur repeated the legendary 1930s flight in a modern fighter. He has flown across the vast realms of Russia covering twelve thousand and five hundred kilometres with four in-flight refuelings.
