Kvohur’s aircraft took off at 02:38am Moscow time from the Zhukovsky Airfield to tackle an ultra-long-distance non-stop flight to Chkalov Island (former Udd Island) in the Far East and back again.

Kvochur and his co-pilot Sergei Korostiev have demonstrated the power of the modern Russian military aircraft and technology, i.e. satellite navigation and in-flight refueling.
